STATEMENT of Philosophy of Ownership & Operation of The Springs Stadium 4 Theatre, French Lick, IN:
Collier Enterprises LLC has gone to great expense to bring to Orange and surrounding counties, the finest independently owned and operated movie theatre in southern Indiana. Collier Enterprises LLC is wholly owned by Dr. John W. and Sharon K. Collier at the time of this statement.
As a result of the on-going operation of the theatre, we are ultimately responsible for the final decision as to movie selection offered for public viewing. We are assisted in scheduling choices by our managing partner, Richard P. Dieffenbach and our booking agency, Theatre Service Network.
We pledge to offer our potential viewing audience a balanced selection of choices for their viewing entertainment. We will use the theatre industry rating and recommendation system as a guideline for achieving this goal in addition to maintaining an open door policy for public opinion and comment.
We have instituted a policy of requiring an acceptable I.D. documenting an age of at least 17 years to qualify for admission to an "R" rated movie unless accompanied by a parent. We do not have influence over the movie rating system and may not always agree with a particular movie rating assignment. The individual viewer, parent, or legal guardian will be expected to make rational decisions concerning their viewing choices.
We recognize there is a potential for controversial products within the movie exhibition business. These situations will have to be dealt with on an individual basis as they occur. Since the final decision as to whether a specific movie is offered for public viewing in our theatre falls on the owners, we ask that you bear with us as we struggle with this challenge. We want and need your business to be successful in our mission to maintain The Springs Stadium 4 Theatre as the finest independent movie theatre in southern Indiana. We hope that you, the viewing public will exercise the responsibility of making informed and intelligent choices for yourselves and minor children under your care.
Finally we ask that you respect others in their choices in life whether you agree with them or not and accept the challenge of trying to foster good will among men.
